If You Were Born After 1990, and Want to Change Your Money Life, Don't Leave Your Unsuccessful Friends Behind

Stay with them, but don't be with them.

It is easier to blame your parents if something goes wrong. After all, many have not won the geographic lottery. In a first-world country. And nobody asks to be born poor or rich.

Our money life is shaped by experiences throughout our lives. This changes our mentality and can have positive, but also negative effects on us.

Because many fears and prejudices can be attributed to what we have experienced and known. A well-simplified example is as follows: In your environment, there are almost only smokers, and the probability that you will also start smoking is significantly higher.

Now it's getting exciting, because if you start, despite knowing that smoking only has negative effects, you have a weak mindset. 

Because you are not fighting the desire to do something unhealthy and therefore bad for yourself. 

For those who were born after 1990, it is also important to find your philosophy of life and act according to it. Of course, you will develop further throughout your life, but don't let society label you. 

Because in today's environment, if someone doesn't fit into this image, he quickly becomes an outsider. But it is precisely at this point that you must decide for yourself whether you want to lead a normal life or an extraordinary life.

My point is not to say that normal life is bad, but to show that you are responsible for what you do with your life. 

But in order for you to be able to do what you want without being influenced by your surroundings, you need a strong mindset that guides you on that path.

Surroundings are heaven and hell at the same time

It's not about exchanging friends or family, it's about finding people who have the same purpose. 

In my case, I can talk about Bitcoin with a bunch of strange people on Twitter for hours, but many of my friends are not interested. That's why I still don't stop seeing them, but I'm looking for more friends who share my passion.

In the age of Twitter and Linkedin, it has become easy to make new friends and exchange opinions about anything. You can exchange ideas if you have problems with your development path.

Relax, I'm not going to talk here about school education, but rather about private education. Because in school you learn many things, but mostly very superficially.

Since you are reading this story here on Medium or on Substack, you must be aware that the stock market, Bitcoin, money, and personal finance are almost never discussed in school. That is why it is even more important to take your money and education into your own hands.

It doesn't matter if you buy video courses, audiobooks, books, or seminars. Figure out the best way to acquire knowledge and do it. After that, it is absolutely necessary to put it into practice, because when you read a book, only about 10% of the knowledge remains after two weeks. 

If you implement what you have learned and teach it to other people, more than 90% will remain.

Don't be afraid of setbacks. Sooner or later you will try something and it won't work. Many would now throw in the towel and see failure as confirmation that they will never succeed.

You have to see it as motivation. If you can't get in the front door, try the back door, then the basement, or a window.

But let me tell you that the next big problem is waiting for you around the next corner, and you will master it too. 

Because only if you are willing to do things that others won't do, can you achieve goals that others will never achieve. 

It doesn't matter if your goals are wealth and geographical freedom, you can achieve almost anything, you just have to go for it.

The Internet age is the best age ever

Hold this with both hands.

The digital age is a double-edged sword. You have access to all the knowledge of mankind at any time. However, not everything on the internet is true and not everyone wants to help you. 

Many people want to deceive you or have an inferiority complex and take their frustration out on you.

Don't let these people influence you, just do what you want to do. There will always be people who are jealous and wish you the worst.

The positive sides of the digital world are much greater. You have the opportunity to tap into an almost infinite amount of knowledge and also to make money online.

The key to a good money life is not to let others lead you astray. Find an inspiring environment, and use the Internet to make more money, but don't leave your unsuccessful friends and family behind. 

Just be mysterious and strange in front of them. Indifference is the watchword.

Friendship matters. Family is everything. But without money, you lose both.
