Stop Working To Earn Money. Work To Live
Working to make money is tiring, but working for life is not.
You can have everything in life you want if you will just help other people get what they want. — Zig Ziglar
Many people today have jobs they never thought they would have. Earning money by answering comments on the internet.
Often, money is the number one reason why you take a job you’re not passionate about — like delivering pizza. Or newspapers (I did that too)
Many graduates take jobs in wealthy technology companies because they pay well. You can earn six figures just by designing a web page. But it’s not the highest-paid job in the world. Sixteen-year-olds are earning as much money now simply by streaming on the internet.
Although the money is wonderful and will help pay the bills when you go from zero to 80,000 dollars, it won’t bring you lasting peace. Believe me.
When you earn money, you buy nice things, a big house, and go on vacation to other countries. What’s more, when you have children, you want to send them to schools with high returns.
Before you know it, that job you took to earn money a long time ago has turned into a career you don’t want. Or hate.
And because you need the money, you’re afraid to quit. To pursue other things. Trading crypto. NFTs. Starting a Saas company. Start a side hustle print on demand.
You choose what’s safe — you stick with it—corporate employment. You give up the internet business.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t take a job just for the money. You’ll learn in every job, so you won’t have much to lose.
But after a while, when you’re no longer learning, you should pack up and leave that job.
The only reason people stay in jobs where they don’t learn anything is money. Read that again.
Or they stay because of the promise that they’ll get a promotion at the end of the year. The truth is that the promotion may never come and you’ll end up wasting time — and time is the only currency you only pay for once in your life.
Your corporate career is like a sailboat. Instead of always following the direction of the wind, you should be selective. Decide what you think is the sweetest for your life.
There’s no mistake or shame in earning money — we all have to work to live and support our families. But don’t be a slave to money.
Instead of working to earn money, I think everyone should choose learning for life over money.
You’ll earn more money when you focus on developing your skills and knowledge. But when money is the number one factor in getting a job and you’re not passionate about the work, you’ll become indifferent to the work.
You’ll think:
Why should I spend time improving my skills?
By this point, you simply don’t care about the job anymore.
And no one will blame you.
It’s completely natural to become disinterested in things you don’t like.
But it should be the opposite.
You should take a job that involves work that gets you excited. Above all, you should do something you’re good at so that you can transform or change other people’s lives.
Work means changing people’s lives for the better and increasing profits for the company. You don’t just get paid for doing something you love — you have to be good at it. #Be1In1Million.
Work is seen as a way of earning money so that you can live the life you want. But the truth is that you spend a lot of time at work.
So what do you value more, your time or your money?
You can make money doing anything, but time doesn’t come back. We should be wiser when deciding how to spend it.
Think about what you’ve done so far. In life — and at work as one.
Find a job that you’re good at and passionate about.
By adding value to other people’s lives, you’ll earn the money you deserve.

Many people are stuck with jobs they dislike not only for the salary but mostly for the benefits such as health insurance.
