The idea of retiring at 40 (or as early as possible) is tempting, but the road is strewn with obstacles.

Retiring young requires overcoming the “bum” taboo and the discipline to save and invest over the years.

I think that the goal of early retirement is too important to be left to chance or to depend on miracles.
