This my second gig In Retail. My first job i worked as a Fashion consultant with a Luxury brand. Work didn’t bring me down but it led to 0 work life balance, hideous working hours and that to for 6 days a week, the pay was the cherry on top so i eventually quit and vowed that I will never work in retail again but post covid the job market was horrible but somehow landed a job as a store manager in a different country ( promotion from the previous role i had) despite the hesitation of working in retail again i decided to take it up. It’s been a year since then i practically hit depression of having nothing else but work in my life and i somehow make time to hit the gym daily but it’s left me lifeless and pretty much in the dumps. I constantly tell myself how much i hate my life at the moment. Can’t find a way out.
